As a valued client we have collected certain data that may be considered personal private information in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act. We will use your information for a number of different purposes, for example to provide our services to you and your company and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Typically, the only information about individuals that we collect are those necessary to contact you as a representative of your company. We may also collect information from you for security purposes and to comply with health and safety requirements should you need to enter our building.  This may include the following:

  • Names
  • Telephone number/s
  • Email address/es
  • Body temperature (under the Covid Disaster Management)
Intercal will take reasonable and practicable steps to protect your information. This may include data encryption for soft copy data, and lock and key in a secure location for hard copy data.
No personal information will be disclosed to any third party without your express and written permission unless we have a legal or contractual duty to give the information to that third party.. In most cases we will refer the thrid party directly to you.
The information that we collect will be kept for as long as is required by regulatory or other requirements. You may contact our Information Officer at any time to request that your information be deleted. The reasons for keeping the information will be reviewed and will be formally deleted if justifiable. Either way, you will be kept fully informed of the process.
